Gluten-free Buckeye Brownies

I don’t think anyone in the world can resist one of the most iconic flavor combinations known to man - chocolate and peanut butter. These gluten-free brownies are the perfect marriage between the two: a rich and fudgy chocolate brownie base slathered with a layer of peanut butter filling. Finally, it’s topped with a smooth chocolate frosting…what’s not to love?

Nothing else makes more sense than chocolate and peanut butter when paired together. The nutty, slightly savory flavor of the peanut butter melds with the smooth, rich chocolate and creates something magical. These gluten-free buckeye brownies are, simply, one of the best brownies you’ll ever eat in your life. They’re moist, ruch, fudgy, nutty, have a slight crunch from chocolate chips, and have a silky smooth finish with the two layers of decadence on top!

I’m not much of a candy eater, but I do like a good Reese’s Cup. Do you like Reese’s Cups? If you do, you’re going to LOVE these brownies. They taste like an amplified version of the classic candy. If you want an even more intense chocolate-peanut butter punch, top the brownies with chopped up Reese’s Cups…TO-DIE-FOR! 😍🍫🥜

Let the baking begin!

TIPS AND TRICKS:

- Always preheat your oven.

- All refrigerated ingredients should be room temperature unless stated otherwise.

- Be sure to do those little times of refrigeration in between the frosting layers so they don’t smudge together.

- Don’t mix the powered sugar into the frostings too quickly or you’ll have an explosion of sugar!
