Chocolate Buttercream
This is the best chocolate buttercream ever. It's smooth, creamy, rich, and so chocolaty. It's the perfect topping for your favorite cakes and cupcakes!
Chocolate cake topped with chocolate buttercream is one of my favorite desserts. Actually, it has been my birthday cake of choice for many years. There is nothing like homemade chocolate frosting on top of homemade chocolate cake. It's honestly a match made in heaven, for sure. This frosting is quick, easy, and pipes like a dream. Give this chocolate buttercream a try. I know you'll love it as much as I do.

TIPS AND TRICKS:
- Your butter should always be room temperature. If you use it when it's too cold it will leave lumps in your buttercream that are hard to remove.
- Never add your milk in all at once!
- Hershey's cocoa is my personal favorite cocoa for this recipe, but you can use whatever cocoa you like.
- If your buttercream has too many air bubbles, turn the mixer to low and let it go for 5 minutes.
