These chocolate chip banana bread cookies were inspired by some amazing cookies you could get in Disney World from Gideon's Bakehouse. While their cookies are almost 1/2 lb. each, ours are a lot smaller and better suited for a single serving that doesn't make your stomach hurt πŸ˜‚. They come in at around 3 oz. each. Best of all, they're gluten-free! So, if you've ever dreamed of having a giant Gideon's cookie, but weren't able to, then we've got you covered. Warm, fresh-baked, super yummy, banana walnut chocolate chip cookies BAKED BY YOU!

Seriously, these big beauties are pretty addicting. You may start off with half of a cookie, but soon you'll realize that the temptation is too strong to leave the other half uneaten. Nobody will be saying "no" to these!

TIPS AND TRICKS:

- Always preheat your oven.

- All refrigerated ingredients should be room temperature unless stated otherwise.

- Make sure your bananas are overripe.

- The egg can be cold because we're chilling the dough for 45 minutes, but make sure the butter and cream cheese are room temperature so they're easy to mix.

- Don't skip the chill! The dough is very sticky at room temperature.

- Keep the rest of the dough balls in the fridge while one tray is baking because they need to go into the oven cold.
