Magic cookie bars are an oldie, but a goodie. The traditional recipe is made with a graham cracker crust for the bottom layer. I decided to to take it up a notch in the chocolate zone and make the first layer chocolate shortbread. It is a perfect base for these bars. Topping this off with chocolate chips, walnuts, coconut, and sweetened condensed milk makes these bars a chocolatey, chewy treat for all. This is a great, simple recipe to keep on hand in case you need a quick, easy dessert that's sure to impress and satisfy everyone.

After I went gluten-free I decided to try and recreate that super delicious chocolate treat. It starts with a layer of chocolate cake with a tiny bit of coffee mixed into the batter to enhance the chocolate flavor. It's also made with peanut butter instead of butter or oil. You can't really taste the peanut butter, but it does keep the cake perfectly moist, rich, and gives it a fudge-like texture. Now, let's talk about the crumbs; If you like crumb topping then you will love chocolate crumb topping. Big chunks of buttery, sweet, chocolate crumbs with mini chocolate chips mixed in for an added punch of chocolate flavor. All of this goodness is topped with a milk chocolate drizzle. Triple chocolate crumb cake is definitely a dessert for all of you gluten-free chocolate lovers out there.
